Talia Frances Bowell
as Filet
Talia Frances Bowell is a twenty-year-old, Vancouver Island born performing artist. She recently graduated, in 2021, with a diploma from the Theatre Arts program at MacEwan University where she interpreted roles such as Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods. Talia is currently attending Sheridan college in Ontario where she is in her second year of the Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre program. She is stoked to participate in Fringe Fest for her first ever summer here in Edmonton!

Kevin Cambridge
as Munchie Moo
Kevin is thrilled to be making his Cathexis Theatre debut in Wild Moo’s Chase. He is a graduate of MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts program. Select Theatre Credits: Never Swim Alone, Punch Up, Dani Girl (Light in the Dark Theatre), Guys and Dolls, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, 9 To 5, Sondheim on Sondheim, Lion in the Streets (MacEwan University) and 11 seasons with the Badlands Passion Play. Andrew Despres
as Cow/Wellington
This is Andrew's 4th appearance in a Cathexis Theatre show. Previous credits include "Murder Mime The Musical (2013), Murder Mime The Musical (2017) and The Big Bright! Andrew is so excited to finally be back at Fringe after a lengthy hiatus due to the pandemic. When he's not performing, Andrew likes to follow his other passions of singing sea shanties, spending time with his dog, watching Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, and learning about new technologies as an IT Professional.

David Froland
as Meat Man
This is David's first show with Cathexis Theatre, and he is stupendously excited for the opportunity to work with such wonderfully wacky individuals. David is a performer from Edmonton and is a teacher of young humans. He has been involved in theatre since he can remember and is a graduate of MacEwan's Theatre Arts program. Selected stage credits include: High Fidelity, Company (LDS) Pedestrians, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Peter Pan, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (MacEwan University). Special thanks and love to his two little humans at home who have been patient and supportive throughout this creative process. Welcome to Meatland and happy Fringing 2022.

Kat Lucyk
as Beef/Loin
This is Kat's first Fringe production, and she is extremely excited to be involved in bringing original theatre works to life in Edmonton. Previous acting credits include Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Ruth Condomine in Blithe Spirit, both at Concordia University of Edmonton where she studies. She is working to become a teacher and share her love of the performing arts with the next generation. Kat is honoured to welcome you to the wonderful, wacky world of Meatland, and she hopes you enjoy the experience!

Pauline Miki

Pauline Miki (Brisket) was born and raised in the Philippines. “The Life of Jose Rizal”. ABS-CBN, Solaire, plus others. Love you Mom, Dad, Lola, and Lolo!

Annie Randall
as Salami/Flank
/Assorted Veg.
/Robot cow & Music Director
Annie has a BA in music from Concordia University of Edmonton. She has been accepted into the Master of Music program in voice performance at the University of Alberta. She is excited to be making her debut both on stage and as music director at Cathexis Theatre for Wild Moo's Chase. Her other credits include: Mae Tuck (Tuck Everlasting), Rona Perretti (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Jackie Allen (High Fidelity). She has an extensive knowledge of random music, and as such, is a fantastic edition to your name that tune team. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has enjoyed being a part of it!

Marlena Muskens
Pianist
Marlena has played piano for over 20 years. In 2009, she completed her Performer’s ARCT (Associate of
the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto) in piano under the tutelage of Dr. Irina Konovalov. Since
then, she has aimed to explore and expand her artistic musical range through taking on a variety of
musical projects. These include performances with the Alberta Mozart Society in their annual Edmonton
Mozart Festival, the Edmonton Chinese Philharmonica, and local musical theatre artists. Wild Moo’s
Chase is her second musical with Cathexis Theatre (the first being Murder Mime: The Musical (revised) in
2017).

Emily Smith
as Munchie Moo (Almost!)
Emily Smith is an Edmonton based playwright, clown, and actor. She was so excited to be part of Wild Moo's Chase as an actor. Unfortunately, Emily took breaking a leg too literally and, due to doctors orders, she can no longer be performing in the show. Emily broke her leg only 12 days before opening and is very thankful to Kevin Cambridge for joining the Wild Moo's Chase team last minute and quickly learning the role of Munchie Moo. Emily has been working on Wild Moo's Chase through the pandemic as the dramaturg and is so happy the show is now premiering! She hopes you all enjoy the show!

Erin Hutchison
Playwright & Director
Erin is an Edmonton-based Director, Playwright, Actor, Clown and the Artistic Director of Cathexis Theatre. Previously written and directed shows include The Big Bright, Murder Mime the Musical, and The Grave Digger. Erin is a graduate of the Theatre Arts program at MacEwan University and has been seen most recently in the short film The Dumb Waiter, a variety of Scamp and Shorty shows, and Seance. Next on the docket is Scamp and Shorty’s Horror Stories in Play the Fool Festival this September. Erin is so thankful for the opportunity to work with all these incredible people! She enjoys all things chaos and hopes you enjoy the show!

Michelle Glen
Composer
Michelle is an Edmonton based composer, songwriter and sound designer. Originally from Grimshaw, Alberta, she received her Bachelor of Music at the University of Alberta in 2019. Michelle is passionate about narrative musical works and enjoys exploring the crossover of storytelling and music through theatre, film and video games. She has composed works for chamber ensembles, choral ensembles, opera, solo instruments and electronics. Michelle is passionate about bringing important topics to light through collaborative works and hopes to inspire audiences in thought provoking ways. She is thrilled to have been involved in the creative process for Wild Moo’s Chase and is excited to return to the Fringe Festival this summer.

Emily Marisabel
Producer
Emily is an Alberta-based theatre producer and director who is thrilled to be working with the Cathexis Theatre for her third production! Emily has directed and produced for theatres across Canada and is also the founder and artistic director of Light in the Dark Theatre, a company dedicated to bringing stories of hope and healing to remote Alberta communities which have minimal arts opportunities. In 2018, Emily was awarded the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award for her practice of utilizing live theatre to inspire hope, incite positive change and build community. Emily would like to thank her husband, family and friends for their support, love and encouragement.

Emily Smith
Dramaturg
Emily Smith is an Edmonton based playwright, clown, and actor. She is so excited to be back after Covid and to be a part of Wild Moo's Chase as an (almost) actor and dramaturg. Emily's last fringe show was the Big Bright, and she is so excited to be working with Cathexis again on this brand new musical. When she is not acting, you can often find her working on her new musical, Earworm, or in shows with her clown partner, Scamp. The clown duo will be presenting at Play the Fool Fest this September.

Caitlan Argueta
Stage Manager
Caitlan is an Edmonton-based Latinx theatre technician. She has a Theatre Production Diploma from MacEwan University and has studied at the Banff Centre of Arts and Creativity. Previous credits include: Guys and Dolls (MacEwan); Hamlet; Comedy of Errors (Freewill Shakespeare Festival); A Charlie Brown Christmas ft. The Jerry Granello Trio; Ruben and the Dark (Banff Centre); Scenes from a Sidewalk (Plain Jane Theatre).
